Christmas Play 2009 - Part 2

Ah, it was darling.

Our Little Lamb

Our Angel

Our "Joseph"

Jared became the sheep bouncer to keep them from wandering out the side door. ::snort::

Nolan sang and moved props...but he was in the back and I couldn't get a great picture of him...though you can sort of see him behind Zander here....

Who can resit a winking angel? He used to wink at me each Sunday from the platform during the "children's sermon"....so many ladies figured he was winking at them...but I knew tonight who he was winking at. Ah.

Back at home we read a Jesse Tree Devotional and the kids hunted for tonight's advent clue/gift.

The clue led to the Sombrero, which contained another clue, as the gift tonight was too big to hide in the sombrero.

Zander was thrilled to find the boxes.

From 2009-12-20

For years we did PJs on Christmas Eve....and then we had so many sets of PJs that we quit. THIS year we NEED them. It's cold in this house at night. ::snort::

Arielle thumbs through the notebook of catalogs I compiled. She's shopping for Jesus' birthday. From 2009-12-20

All the kids are now into "single digits" on the arriving home countdown. YES.

I downloaded Picasa 3.6 to be our photo editor and such. I'm not quite sure how to make it "organize" the way I want...but I've had fun playing with the "blog this photo" button and the "sync this album" button...wow THAT saves a step in loading photos!!!!

I think I'll do some shopping tomorrow. It's time. ::snort::

Bre will be home in 4 days
Krista will be home in 6 days
Jamin and Josiah will be home in 8 days

Love the sheep bouncer! Too funny! Chase's friend was the narrator in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and they had 2 extra tickets for Friday night. So we went to see it. It was so cute! Your wandering sheep reminds me of this book. :)

LOL. You crack me up. You've tried several new programs while I'm still on my one new program from 2 years ago (LOL)! YOU GO GIRL!

just to clarify incase anyone thinks the above wasn't a kind remark to you. TRUST ME. It is and DeEtta will get it.... bottom line... she's much faster at new things than I am.

Ah....but I never have a well-thought on plan when I start new things....I figure I'll learn how to organize things via picasa soon....meanwhile those two snow in the street posts were simply - highlight the photo on my hard drive and click a "blog this" button. Very easy and quick!

Sis:

Love the look in Stacia's eyes.... :):) like 'what am I doing in this outfit and etc.' :):)

The wink of Alexander is great and what says a lot between you and he..... like 'see, it's me & I'm doing this'.

Bet none of the little sheep dared venture towards that TALL, stoic looking bouncer. Good job Jared!

We see "Mary" and she is special.
Was Nolan Joseph and all the other stuff too? :):) Nolan is my kind of guy.... hide in foto's. :):)

Sure would have been nice to see the whole thing..... haven't seen the kids in a program since either Hardin or Alaska!

Sis: May take me a bit of time to get it all together, I had forgotten Arielle was going to be Joseph....... AND she is the best looking Joseph I have ever seen.

No doubt but that Nolan was the best singer and prop mover.
