TOYS FOR MIKE....

I had to run and buy vicks. Melody had told me about "vapor plugs". I'd never heard of such a thing - but went out to get some. Maybe we'll have a quieter night tonight. I decided to run to the base and pick up the toys at the same time.....

Here's the table loaded with toys....

Packing boxes....

Taking the van seat out has proven handy...

OUCH - that bill at the post office was hard! Now I hear about a program where you can get free labels, boxes, packing and postage{?} to mail to soldiers....I'm going to check into it.

I mailed out a package to mom, a package to Dorothy (I think I have your address memorized now - they gave me the wrong customs form to fill out so I filled it out three times without my reader glasses LOL), toys to Mike, Christmas package to Mike, two portfolios to NARS, a PBS book.....$157.00. Yikes! No food this week!

YIKES! I've been wondering about your po bill since you've been talking about all the packages you have to mail. I have 2 overseas one, a few instate, and one out of state to mail tomorrow.... the Christmas card mailing will be expensive.... 100 cards this year! Maybe next year I can cut that by 1/2 with more and more people keeping in touch via the blog.

DeEtta,
Box (looks just like your boxes - good ole movers book box) of toys and books was sent to Mike yesterday. Since we are overseas it went MPS (which means it's all in the hands of the military which is why it was free). I sure hope it gets there before their trip to the orphange.
It was a good service project for Madeleine for "international" hours. Now I just need to figure out how to get a signature on her service hours worksheet... maybe I can forge Mike's signature? tee hee

Renee - you could forge or we could get you a signature...I am the all possesor of an all powerful, encompasses everything POA - if that will work. ::snort:: Yeah - I know - each time Mike goes in to get a POA legal warn him that he shouldn't leave so much power with me - but he does anyway....

Tee hee... my POA from Scott is the same. I can do almost anything with it. Unfortunately there are so many couples that don't have the same trusting marriages you and I have with our dhs. I will ask Madeleine what she needs for this paperwork. I may be able to scan/attach it to you.
