MONDAY

Quick trip for meds and to pick up toys (see below).

Home to pack boxes and baby ill children.

Run to the post office. Used the one in a storage business - great tip Kristine. They recognized me. LOL

More babying of ill children.

Comfort dinner - mac/cheese and homemade turkey noodle soup. Got 20 more cups of turkey broth in the freezer...what a blessing to have had so many turkeys to cook over the weekend.

Cleared my schedule from today - Thursday afternoon.....ready to cozy up with ill children.

Chased Stacia around the house to rescue nativity pieces. {Sigh}

Zander came out and said, "Mom, Nolan and Alex (him) are sick." I agreed. "So, can we have the TV in our room?" When they are sick I quarantine them and give them a VCR - they love it.

Time to read some Peter Pan....

Hey that is a REALLY cool thing to have your own TV when you're sick. Maybe I'll run that one by mom...LOL

Sorry to hear that you've got sick kids. I was wondering of you were going to do "Christmas School" this year. That always sounds so fun!

Hope everyone is feeling better SOON! Seems like you've had more than your share of illnesses this winter.... maybe you need a colder climate?

oh... and one more thing. Glad you found a po that will recognize you now! It's so much nicer, imo. I don't like to go to the pos in town because they just aren't as friendly as the ones out here where the pm recongizes you.

Bess - it's only very special because we don't have another tv and so they don't get TV unless they are sick....and even then we don't get reception so it's videos. LOL But it is pretty nice for them....makes it easier to stay still and recover.

Cindy - my theory IS that colder climates are better for illness. We have NEVER caught flu and colds and such in the North like we do every time we live in the south. I think it NEEDS to get cold enough to kill germs....though on Thursday we are supposed to be in the 20's. That may do it.

So sorry the kids are sick. What a stinky time of year.

I have to agree about the colds and what not and cold weather. I think my guys got sick this fall because our weather has been unseasonably warm. We are usually quite healthy. I'm waiting for our first real cold snap to knock out the germs.

Hope everyone gets well soon.

Glad the PO thing worked out! I mailed two letters at our regular PO drive through, and I think everyone was mailing their weekend purchases. Even in March at 10 a.m., the lines are 20 mins. long. The alternative POs are soooo great!

DeEtta,
Does STacia have her own kid friendly nativity? I believe Fisher Price has one... I know that PlayMobile has one but that has small pieces.... maybe Veggie Tales has one?

Renee - I see you read below - but I have two...a cloth one and the Playmobile one....Honestly, the tiny pieces of the playmobile one are to small to have around here. Oh well. I thought about looking for a bigger plastic set - whatever happened to webloes???? BUT they seem to want my ceramic anyway....and since I do have the fabric one...but I'm still looking. LOL
