BIG EXCITEMENT - CAN YOU SAY, "TORNADO?"

I was getting blood drawn at the doctors when the speakers began blipping about a tornado warning....then I got a cell phone call saying "get home" but I had to finish the lab work....and since I WAS out and we had no milk....I ran to Sam's.

Meanwhile the tornado touched down in a nearby town and is heading someway near us....and we now have hurricane force winds and severe thunder warnings coming right for us. Due to hit a town on one side of us at 1:30 and the other side of us at 1:40. I got home at 1:30 and we're settling in for some storm watching...... The radar screen is totally amazing. It's really strange looking out there. We'll be staying home the rest of the day - except for Cy who has to go to work and Mike who has to come home. LOL

Funny to know that it took our local weather to get you back to blogging...been missing my daily word from De'Etta LOL Called you today to check in and to set up a playdate w/the kiddos.

We hunkered down and watched the storm roll in, then went inside for some drawing and book reading. Now off to resume our regular life of ballet and AWANA...

Cool! I love weather, as long as everyone is safe. I always thought it would be very cool to see a tornado...from a distance!

We are having sunshine!! I'm sorry you're having storms, but I'm glad you have the rain and not us lol. We will have sunny/partly sunny days for 5 days in a row if the weather forecast is correct.

I love the weather too, Debbie. I saw a tornado when I was a senior in high school. I was working at the mall and it was not fun. The tornado did not touch down at the mall, but 1/2 mile away. It was huge and it was devastating. Freaked me out, too!

There really isn't anything boring about your daily life, is there!

Tornadoes frighten me! You can keep them and watch them all for me. ;) I'm with Kelly... we have a nice week of weather from what I can tell with mostly sunny and upper 60s. You can keep the rain there! lol

Just wondering if deja has a blog? I keep seeing your name in DeEtta's comments and wanted to stop by your blog if you have one.

Sis: Glad you are all fine. We are a bit late in knowing cuz I am behind on everything.

I love to watch big storms when we are not in danger. Sure had a few in the PI's
