My Birthday Week Continues

Wonderful handmade cards, a new freezer, dinner out -how could it get better?

It seems that Josiah and Jamin had purchased a gift before hearing about the joint freezer thing.

Tonight after they got back from paintballing (a team building thing Cy organized for work).....

I was told to shut my eyes. Do you like the wrapping? They get that anti-wrapping gene from me! (There's been an ongoing discussion around here about genetics and what they may catch from me and Mike based on our family histories. LOL)

Stacia watched me struggle with the packing tape and styrofoam and said, "Wet me help!" She proceeded to open the gift the gift.

Jamin and Jared had bought the 6 pc starter set of the Willow Creek Nativity for me at Christmas. I always leave one set out year round....because we celebrate Him all year...and this one has been out.....but now....Josiah and Jamin bought me the Wisemen too!

How wonderful! It looks so lovely.

I treated myself before Christmas and bought the wisemen at the little shop I go to. They were having a very nice sale.

I still have my set out also and hadn't made up my mind yet about whether I was putting it away or not.

You had a very nice birthday.

DeEtta,
I sold some stuff on ebay and combined my birthday money, inorder to buy the set off of ebay. I am SO looking forward to it! It included the nativity set, the wisemen, the star background, the sheep and stable animals. I looked around locally, but that stuff is NEVER EVER on sale! I did find that Cracker Barrell had them 30%, but it was incomplete and I didn't have my $ yet. Then they were wiped out afterwards. Anyway, after comparing prices, the deal on Ebay was WAY better. Here is the link to the people I bought mine from:

I still want the stable and oxen but I will wait til I have more bday or other money saved up.

Glad you are enjoying it!

I LOVE that set! I'm thinking about getting this set one of these years, but I didn't even get up the energy to put out all of my normal ones this year so I'm not sure about buying another now (LOL).... I could get rid of all the others I guess and just have one... that would simplify things.

Thanks Beth - I'll check it out. Yeah - they are never on sale here. I love them as they are so simple and "everyman" type....

Sis:

Love your gift......... Totally Awesome! Your love of gift wrapping comes from your Dad's side. Often they got stuff wrapped in paper bags amd news paper. Wrapping was not that important to your G'Pa T... don't know what G'Ma T thought...... what he thought. :):):)

After all...... it's what's inside that counts... as they said.
