Powerhouse Antioxidant

Blueberries! These little gems have been ranked #1 in antioxidant activity when compared with 40 other fruits and vegetables (USDA Human Nutrition Center study).

Researchers say that they help to reduce LDL (bad cholesterol).

It's recommended that all try to eat a cup a day - ok - so if you don't have heart issues maybe you don't have to do this every day - but YUM! Fresh, frozen, dried.....I don't much like the "texture" of blueberries plain...but I love them in fruit salads, muffins, SMOOTHIES....this is something easy to do for my health.

Sis: YUCK! Wonder if they have a blueberry pill. You know so I wouldn't have to pretend a whole cup was just pills. :):)

I buy them for Dad though.

YUM! Funny you should mention that when just this morning we decided to make blueberry pancakes! Now I can eat them resting assured they are GOOD for us!

lol. I decided we've been going through the maple syrup too quickly, so just this morning I made blueberry syrup for our pancakes. Oh yummm... It was SO good. I only got a little--definitely need to double the recipe next time.

I love 'em out of the freezer-just barely defrosted.
