Mike was sick. He stayed home. Arielle had a sore throat but was needed for a performance. She, Jared and I went in. She performed. I taught Mike's Sunday School class. We left after Sunday School, bought a thermometer and headed home.
Jared decided to run back to base - as in RUN to the base...and BACK HOME. He'll feel it tomorrow.
Meanwhile, back at home we took everyone's temp. All were fine....except mine was HIGH...which is a shock becuase my temp is always low due to my thyroid....so I'm typing this up and heading to bed. I've taken it easy today.

The particulary fluy around here either runs no fever OR a very high one. The no fever one seems to be a bit worse for adults.

Our kids got the Veggie Tale St. Nicholas movie for St. Nicholas' feast day today.:)

I'm praying this one is not disappointing. I know we got one Veggie Christmas one and were not happy with it...but I figure this one should be about St. Nick - therefore at least more of the story than the one we had before. LOL
I am trying to tie ours into the Jesse Tree reading this year too. We will be getting "St. Nick" toward the end of Advent when our ornament is "Man".
Oooh, I forgot about it being St. Nicholas day today! I am usually more on top of that, but this has been a crazy year. Maybe I will pull it out today after all and come up with something else for "man" day. :-)
