Bosch Question....
The last two days when I make smoothies (which I do one - two times a day) it seeps out the bottom of the blender. I've checked and can't figure out why. I do not have a manual. I suddenly realized that I bought it from a distributor in AK - she sold grains and mills and mixers out of her home...but she didn't give me paperwork or a manual or anything....
Anyone have a clue what would be causing this? Do I need to go get a blender JUST for smooothies?

DeEtta,
It is your o-ring seal. I had the same problem. I have also had the coupler (underneath the blender) strip. They are cheap. Call either bosch or your rep for it.
I would call to see if it is still under warranty. If it isn't, I order my supplies, etc from www.everythingkitchens.com They are GREAT!
Also I wouldn't waste my money on another blender. Your 700w power Bosch won't compare to the other brands IMO. I made a smoothie this morning and it was fine. I don't use as much ice though. I add the creamy stuff first (milk, yogurt, etc) then my frozen fruit. IF I add ice I will add it last.

Hi Cutie
Yup, check the o-ring. I am betting that it is not quite on right.

Sounds like the rubber gasket thing (an open circle made of rubber) is not put in properly. Drats.... can't remember if it belongs between the blades and the container... or the blades and the base that screws on....
:::snort::: Renee you are so like me. YES...the little plastic ring thing was the culprit - and now I know it's an o-ring.
Beth - you don't think I'm going to wear out my bosh??? And have you ever had a little bit of oil turn up in your dough? Wondering if I'm overloading it....
De Etta,
Just checking before we start packing for FL (tomorrow night through the 5th of Nov).
What did you mean by this statment:
Beth - And have you ever had a little bit of oil turn up in your dough? Wondering if I'm overloading
Are you talking about the blender now or your bowl?
Thanks for the clarification
Beth
