My friend Debbie came over and brought this little ornament. She said that she thought of me when she saw it. It's CUTE....and I DID think almost immediately that I need to make a stocking next year to hang on our mantle with the name "Jesus" on it. I think we'll sort of do the "fill the manger with straw" thing...but have slips of paper and they can write down anyone they see doing something "Christlike" and fill the stocking....Next year....
It's always fun to visit with Debbie. She works in the local hospital and has quite the stories to tell after this week. ::snort::
She left her key to their house with me so that if our water goes out again we can go out there. They will be gone for two weeks. They live in the NORTH part of town and aren't being affected at home by this. She even called the alarm company to give them our names. LOL

GREAT IDEA! Love the stocking for Jesus idea. I've been wanting to make another stocking, but really don't have anyone to make one for... thought I could start making some ahead for future sons or daughters in law (LOL)... but that would most likely be MANY Yeasr away (LOL)! Maybe I'll steal your idea >VBG>
Maybe you should make ME a JESUS stocking...ever think of THAT???? ::snort::
