Looks like our house! I just love seeing the kids wrestle with daddy.

De'Etta - I had to count heads to see how many kiddos were in that pile. :)

Quick question for you - Do you and Mike have a parenting seminar or class that you teach? I went to a weekend seminar given by a couple from our church. They have 8 children. The dh is a Young Life director. It was an excellent class and I thought often of you and Mike.

This couple does NOT homeschool (always interesting to see a large family that doens't choose this) and have this amazing passion for kids. Neat family.

Just wondering. :)Might be something to think about. Since you're not that busy and all. Ha!

Kathy - no.

I've always stayed away from parenting classes because I figure the kids are enough in the lime light being pastor's kids and I don't want the extra scrutiny of everyone checking out our parenting style because we are "experts"....and because I figure we are still learning as we go...but maybe we should begin to pray about this. LOL

Have to ask the question...it looks like Arielle is holding her head...I can remember having wrestling matches with dad and my three brothers and somehow, even though I was very game for the fight, I would always get the short end...does Arielle find this? I think the t-poisoning, as you call it, gives the boys some type of advantage in this game!

LOL Debbie, I do think it gives them an advantage. I quite often will threaten to spray estrogen in the house but they don't take me seriously at all.

She is still bigger than Nolan and Zander and so gives as good as she gets....but I've noticed that though Nolan is shorter he's getting stronger....it won't be long and she'll need to be teaching them how to act like gentlemen. LOL Mike still remembers that when he got big enough to be able to really take on his sisters they taught him about young men treating young women with grace. LOL
