Our Patriarchs early this COLD a.m.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

It was fun. They'll sleep inside tonight. We ended the school week by eating homemade pizza. Both the older boys are home tonight! Yippee! We watched *Joseph King of Dreams* tonight. It seemed fitting as we studied Gen 11 - 50 this week.

Jamin seems to have got the flu. Ugh. We're watching "We Are Marshal" from Netflix.

Are these movies both highly recommended? If so, I'll put them in my Netflix que!

We are Marshal was sad, but yes...highly recommended.

We enjoyed Joseph too - but it wasn't totally accurate. This was an animated movie. We have the ones TOG recommends and they are more accurate but LONG and somewhat graphic for little ones.

I think it is so cool that your younger crowd slept outside this week.

(De'Etta, I have to say I just do NOT like these boxes! You write such great, long, posts, and I can no longer read what you've written as I reply!)

That was such a neat project for the kids to do!

Kristine- I'm not sure what you mean? Doesn't the little box make it easier to see the post...you can move it to whicher part of the screen you want etc? I thought that was what Dorothy said? ::snort:: I'm getting used to the little box.

No, I am unable to see the post at all!!!! And there's no way to match it up with a post!

I read a blog and right click on Comments to open a new tab. But I continue reading before commenting at all. That way, I know the whole story, which sometimes go back a post or two.

Then I comment on all the posts when I'm done reading (usually 2-4 posts, depending). The little box (or the right click, which opens up a new tab) doesn't tell me which post it is, and doesn't give me the option to view the post like the other way does. So I have no idea what I'm commenting on--except by looking at other comments, and that's not really enough to jog my memory!

Because I right click to Comment (opening up a new tab), I don't know it's this format until I go to that tab--and then it's too late, I don't know which post it goes to.

This way is far more time consuming and confusing. I know it works for how Dorothy comments, but I don't comment that way. :)

I also don't like how tiny this box is, I can only read about 10 short lines of my comments, and it's not enough! (Which is one reason why this is so long and blabbering, lol!)

Yeah kids, you made it through the week! Fun how they are really getting into the topics you're learning about.
