Thursday....

I tried to mail 5 packages today. I couldn't find the items that were to go in 3 of the packages. THIS is why I don't make it a practice to shop early. I get burned every time. I'll have to go out and buy replacement gifts for these packages.

We did school.

I made a lot of turkey broth from the leavings of last night's turkey. It's cooling.

I took down all the Christmas decor.

I tried to get lab work done this afternoon but was told I need to fast for some of it - so will try to get it done EARLY tomorrow...before I have to pick up produce.

Zander told me "he's sorry it has to end like this but he's leaving me to go live with his lover in WA." ::snort::

My back is aching from all the climbing and lifting to get decorations switched out. Mike will be thrilled when he gets home from work and sees the huge pile of boxes that need to go to the attic before produce co-op in the a.m. ::snort::

I'm going to go take a nice HOT shower....or maybe a bath haven't done that in over 2 years....or maybe I'll just climb into bed. Christmas is a lot of work. ::snort::

Zander, what an absolute stitch he is. Where does he come up with these things?

Sorry you are so sore, but great job getting all the Christmas stuff packed away.

Zander's comment is adorable. Hoping the bath, shower or sleep helps with the back pain.

Zander is really missing his sister. I hate to laugh, but he is just so funny.

When do the girls visit again?

Christmas IS a lot of work! I think we only put up about 1/3 of our decorations this year. I just knew I wouldn't have the energy to put it all away so we didn't even get it all out.

I DID feel better. Thanks for the well wishes.

Zander IS a card. He is determined to figure out how to move to Spokane. I'm praying God may see fit to send us there for an assignment before the girls move on. LOL

That is TOO funny about Zander's comment!

We are not bath people either. We have a lovely and huge soaking tub in our bathroom. It will never get used. And I will never have to clean it (although sometimes I vacuum out the cat hair because the cat thinks it's a velodrome). I keep joking that I'm going to put pillows in it and make it a reading area.

Love Zanders comment . . .it must of made his sister feel extra special.

Also, I love to take baths . . .I usually take showers but there is nothing like lighting some candles and soaking in a hot tub with a good book :-)
