Establishing Routine

I spent the vacation establishing a great new Tryst time.....but it wasn't established in "real time".

This week I'm busy establishing 2009's routine - Tryst, Workout, Homeschool, Outside activities....As often is the case, when I'm the busiest, I have less time to blog. When I'm not busy, I blog about appliances and picking noses. ::snort::

I have several posts in mind (new emphasis, physical goals, children's happenings, devotionals)...things are good....we're disciplined...we're accomplishing much....

For now (hopefully blogging tonight or tomorrow night) here's a photo I caught at breakfast....wonder who she's been watching? (Hint - they are males). This is her new favorite book...and she is sure that each baby is HER. ::snort::

Is she completely adorable or what?

When you didn't blog for two whole days ;) I figured you are back to school.

I have too much time on my hands and feel yucky, so started yet another blog. This one on the topic of marriage. I'm glad Doug comes home tonight. At least I'll be off the computer, for the most part, until Sunday :)

What a cute photo.

We have some table rules about reading...breakfast and lunch...okay, dinner when the whole family is together (Brian home), no reading.

We are also working on new routines and trying to get back into our winter schooling mode.

We've been busy establishing new routines and getting back to regular life around here as well. I really should just sit down and journal on the blog at the end of each day.. I don't know why I don't do that.... I always enjoy reading about everyone else's days, thoughts, etc.

At it's heart this blog is a family journal. It serves a purpose and has great value (in our minds) as that.....when I lose sight of that - well - in OUR life if it weren't a family journal it would be simply another internet activity that robs us of family time. LOL

So - yes, I think that journaling at the end of the day is a great practice to get into. ::snort:: BUT it does take a bit of time...and some nights I'm TOOOO tired.
