First Slumber Party in Japan

For years our kids would all watch movies late into the night on Friday night. They would drag out blankets and sleep in the living room. As the older ones left home, this tradition seemed to wane. Then the boys were working late Friday night and early Saturday morning and were content to sleep in their own beds.

After our practically perfect Thanksgiving (totally different than usual but so RELAXING), and after the tree was up and decorated....we pulled out The Muppet's Christmas Carol. This is a tradition that I love.

The littles asked if they could watch more movies. We brought down their futons and they were nice and cozy for the first slumber party in Japan.

We love this movie too! When we discovered all of our holiday movies didn't make it to Idaho, I'm so glad we discovered it on sale at Costco. Does your family like Muppet Treasure Island? It's another family fav.

What fun! Gabe has been "camping out" in the girls room for the last few nights. They have so much fun chatting, whispering and giggling.

I'm glad that you had a good thanksgiving and it was so relaxing for you! Did the kids fall asleep before the end of the movie? I always seem to these days. {g}

No, the kids watched FOUR movies....I fall asleep each time the lights dim and the movie starts...but then when I'm in BED I can't seem to sleep.....

Sis: Just get a TV or something like it, put on a movie, and wala! sleep. We were at friends last night to watch a CD they had and I think I only made it thru the first 5 minutes..... I hate always drifting off whenever I shut my mouth or sit quitely. :):) I drink a lot of black, black tea at school.... :):):) NO I don't use real sugar in it. :):) or it should be :(:(:(: love/prayers --- Mom T.
