Nevah Give Up

One thing I've learned from living with Michael is "Nevah Give up!" And I shan't. I can't possibly with Stacia asking, "Do you give up?" every time the thing blows over. This has become a life lesson we must win.

The day dawned bright and sunny. Yesterday it was SOOOO foggy there were water crystals in the air. I quickly washed two super size loads...and hung them.

For the first time in five days - it blew over.....of course the rockers had also blow over.  I remembered what Windy and I discussed....and discovered some nice waxy rope up in Mike's closet (still no medal decs) and borrowed it.....

...tied on either end main lattice posts (but not the main patio post). Do you think it will work? Or will I wake to find the patio lattice blowing through the rice patties?
Jared is in pain - but coping. He's a trooper.

Praying for Jared and healing

Hi Cutie
Tell Jared that this is the worst of it today. Tomorrow will be better.
As for tying the clothes line down, We bought some tent stakes for the inflatable nativity. Grab two of those and anchor them into the ground by pounding them in angling away from the clothesline. Tie the clothesline off on those. If that does not work, move the tent stakes so they are 45 degrees off of the front corners and tie off there and to the porch main poles. I don't think that the lattice brace will be able to handle the strain.

Love you
Mike

Laundry drying in the sun.
Along comes with to have some fun.
Away it blows tossing to and fro.
Where laundry lands you run to know.
Pull out hair or take a stand.
Rockers rolling, turning, tumbling.
Fight with might or pray through plight.
Another day, another challenge.
Laudry drying in the sun.

Correction: Line two, word three should read "wind", not "with". I'd better get some rest and an eye exam!

Told him, Michael.

Darshia - did you write that? You made me smile. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Debbie.

Yes, I wrote it. Your picture inspired me. I have fond memories at Gram's hanging laundry and running out to grab it when blustery weather blew in off the lake. I really like the feel of sun warmed laundry and the smell of the wind blown laundry. Simple, soothing things.
