Europe's Marriage Crisis

As one who has been answering questions about my contribution to the "World Over-population crisis" for over 20 years, I found the statistics in this article by Maggie Gallagher to be fascinating. She obviously writes from a conservative stand point, but I think eventually all will have to deal with the data.

Some findings: "It takes 2.1 children per woman to replace the population." Europe's population growth is now on a chart to have their population cut by HALF every 32 - 65 years. "By contrast, between 1980 and 2000, the United States' fertility climbed from 1.85 back up to 2.06." I think the effect of the "crunchy home-school families" is being seen in America. We may save the nation! {G} Yes, yes....I'm being silly.

The author reaches conclusions of her own - feel free to read the whole article here.
