I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the computer all day. It turns out that Stacia had unplugged the power source. Duh!

We got a lot done today.

We FOUND baby gifts for the shower. We FOUND peanuts in the shell.

We spent 3 hours swimming today. I discovered the secret of pool snacks…feed the kids a meal before you go to the pool. :::snort::: It appears that we’ve always skipped a meal to go swimming. We had a great time at the pool today. I’m still surprised that the pools aren’t more crowded. I remembered to lather sun screen on the kids every hour – during the pool break. Problem is that in all the hubbub I forgot to put ANY on myself. Ouch.

It’s a bit of a challenge to watch Zander and Stacia at the same time in the pool. We manage and we are making memories. We spent about 2 hours in the big pool and spent the last hour in the kiddie pool. Zander played “killer whale” – which resulted in him learning how to swim under water so that he could get rings off the bottom….and oh yes….every once in a while he splashes and flops onto the side of the pool.

Nolan went down the slide without his life jacket. At one point I was worried he was in trouble….and the lifeguard was ½ up and off the platform…..he was so very tired. He needed to quit swimming for a bit…and he did.

I’m not sure why I every worried about bathing suits…goodness the sights you can see at the pool these days.

I made Hawaiian chicken and rice, salad and the brownies for dinner.

I stopped by a party store before going to Bible Study/shower….and picked up decorations. I decorated and then we enjoyed.

All in all a fun day.
