I CONFESS

In my search for sleep at a "decent hour", I've taken to watching The Waltons. What a GREAT show! Though I could swear I remember that they had a large family? What happened? It shrunk. ::snort::

I'm really enjoying watching these episodes. I'm thinking I may need to buy a season or two to balance off the boys' Hogan Heroes craze.

I love The Waltons! I am anxious for us to join Netflix so that we can watch them all.

I confess too. I love the Waltons and try to catch all the episodes as I can. My husband, on the other hand, laughs while calling the show, "The Walnuts." {sighs} ~Yvonne

I used to love the Waltons. We always did the "goodnight, John Boy" thing as a joke everynight.

I loved the Waltons too. In fact, I was the same age as Mary Ellen growing up and had lots of empathy with her character!

If you ask Jamie who was the biggest influence on his fathering, he'll say John Walton, which is kind of embarrassing sometimes, but I know what he means!

I've really been amazed at how well done the series is. It's CLEAN and moral and down right GOOD. I watched "The Ceremony" EARLY this a.m. and decided I will MAKE the whole family watch it before we are through with WW2. It's about a Jewish family who moved to Walton's MT during the 30's to escape what was going on in Germany. The boys tend to think its a girly thing - probably because the older girls loved it and made them watch it over and over when they were little. LOL

Olivia Walton was always my hero! Growing up I always wanted to be the Walton's - live up in the mountains and have 8 kids! The Walton's and Little House in the Prairie were my favorite shows growing up in the 70's.
