Yippee!!! RAIN!!!!

You have to imagine a chant that goes, "Hallelujah!!! Rain at last!!!!!" when you view these photos. I think the NW genes from Mike and I are still strong in these children, regardless of where they are born and raised. True Pacific NWers LOVE the rain - and these children LOVE the rain. It's overcast and rainy today and they are even predicting severe thunder storms...the type of day that thrills our hearts! ::snort::

Yes, I went to watch what was going on when I heard the chant, ran and got the camera, and then told him "you can't be on the trampoline in the RAIN!" ::snort::
Stacia continues to get out of any type of diaper I put her in - regardless of how I affix it. She is determined to either be naked or where Zander's White Tighties...and THAT is not going over well at all. I think she is far to young to worry about training but I'm going to have to figure something out quickly! Yes, I have a photo - but no, I won't publish it on the internet.

De'Etta,
I know you mentioned trying duct tape.
My 2 year old daughter takes off her diaper ALL the time. She loves to play in the contents of her diaper. (gross) I won't go there.
Anyway we would duct tape her diaper on and think we were okay. Well one day I went into to get her from her nap and her diaper was off with the duct tape still on.
Sooooo my dh thought to put duct tape on her onesis.
We just put a small piece of duct tape on the snaps of her onesis and she hasn't figured that out.
We have been known to tape her clothes on her as well.
Hope that helps!!
I feel your pain. lol

Sis: Why don't you and lyour friends come for a visit because this next week is to be very rainy. :):) We too love the rain. Imagine where you live it feels so cool and refreshing.

Hey, sent the foto's to our email address and we promise we will kkeep them just to ourselves. :)

Just got back from the hospital. Dad might be there yet another day. His hands are VERY pale but not his lips. His thigh is very swollen and tight etc. His body is almost all back from shut down but might take another day to be really ok. I am going over at 6am to be with him some before school and to hopefully be there when the doctor comes by.

Are you all feeling better now?

DeEtta,

It *is* too young to be *worrying* about potty training, but have you tried just leaving one lying around and suggesting it in a very nonchelant way?

You never know, she might surprise you!

DeEtta,
Been there done that with the Houdini little one getting out of the diaper, lol. We might have to give Stacia the nickname little Houdini. BTW, FWIW, my mom didn't like diapers either and potty trained herself at 9 months!!! SO, it depends on the child. She might surprise you!
Have a good day
