CAMPING - DAY 1

It's amazing to me that 90 miles from our "high desert" terrain, we find WOODS..... I mean they are not the forests of our Pacific NW home. No redwoods in sight. No towering mountains...but certainly denser and greener foilage than say cactus and mesquite. It's refreshing.

Here's our campsight. We find that camping mid-week provides lots of solitude. ::grin:: It really wasn't even bad Friday night and Saturday...probably had something to do with the storm...but that's a story for a later day. The first day we found our site, set up, hiked to the fishing hole and dropped a few lines, had dinner and read some Patrick McManus.

Campground and site....
This sign appealed to our love of irony

Sis:

Trailer looks great from the back too. Had seen all the other sides and insides before.

I'd say it is a good thing the speed limit is only 10mph with that kind of a sign. :):)

LOL - isn't that sign funny? I sometimes feel like it accurately describes crossroads in my life. LOL
