Day 28 - Missoula to Hardin, MT
12 July 2007

Motorcyle Lotto: Jared won today.

Quote of the Day: “I’m protecting my brain” - says Zander as he plugs his NOSE and dives under. It seems that water can go up your nose, into your brain and YOU WILL DIE!!!!

Ugh - Mike and I are not feeling well...but we have to travel. LOL Few words this evening.....

Visited with Cindy and Emily at a BK off the freeway (this is me with no shower or makeup and sick LOL) Cindy this is becoming "our place".
We're staying at the KOA in Hardin. Wow the stars in MT. I miss them. I cried when we parked here....such a good season of our life was spent here. Our time in Hardin was the only time where I lived in a town with my parents, my uncle and my grams. The kids and I walked to visit grams daily. All the children were home....well the ones that had been born....it was a good season.

Ev had called while we were at BK and wanted to have a potluck. Mike suggested that we keep it low key and that they come over to the KOA. Great. The children played and we visited.

Mom - recognize Grandma Lorraine?
These are our twins ::snort:: They were in our youth group when we were here....and we loved catching up with them and their children
My good friends Cindy and Ev (twins mom)
Sam (Ev's husband)

More could be said, but it's nearing midnight and we have an 0600 pull out call. ::snort::

HI to you all:

Sorry to hear that the sick junk is bothering you again. If we were in Liberia or the Philippines we would be saying... "must be the water". :(

I love seeing foto's of those in Hardin. WOW! I'd still recognize them all.

We to miss those days in Hardin when Dad was itinerating and I was taking care of Mom. I so want to visit Hardin again. Maybe someday!

Hope you all enjoyoed the "big sky" enough for us too.

Love you all and praying for you all,

Thanks for the prayers. Melissa, we didn't make it off Livingston way....but I would of called if I read your note sooner to meet on the hwy.

We are really having to travel HARD to get home by the end of Mike's leave time.

Tomorrow is 500 miles...not much if you are driving 75+ but when you are not on interstate and/or you hit a pass....and the trailer doesn't go 75...We are making good time for the trailer....but we have to stop for gas every 150 -200 miles...LOL

This has been such an awesome trip for you, being able to see so many different places and faces!

Actually, it could be the water. Our systems get used to water in the area we live in and can't fight off whatever might be in the water somewhere else.

But, it sounds like the flu the way it is traveling through the family. :-) How frustrating to have to deal with on the road! Praying as you make the last stretch!

Jen - we've been drinking bottled water the entire trip. Same brand to avoid the water problems.
