What is this????
Does anyone know what this is? I guess I'd best schedule time in to visit a nursery.....

Nope, don't have a clue! When the kids and I went for a walk I did notice it on some tree leaves tho.

Haven't seen any of that in Germany but then we have mostly pine trees.
That reminds me I need to add the pic of the unusual shells we found on the beach in Italy

No idea, but we were supposed to find eggs on top of and underneath a leaf for our zoology class. So, eggs of some sort would be my guess. In fact, I'll send the link to our zoology teacher and ask her.

Cindy's biology teacher thinks it's hickory galls or maple bladder galls...or plant lice. Since the tree is a live oak - I think - I'm guessing it's plant lice and her photos look just like ours....now to find the time to figure out what to do about it! Trees are treasures in W TX. LOL
