Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Shoeboxes Galore

The final tally is in! Our little chapel of 100 members gave 165 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. I'm so thrilled. The entire city gave around 1,000 so we gave 16% of the cities collection. Our coordinators used to be regional coordinators in PA and have all sorts of plans to make this a bigger thing in our area. They are go -getters!

Mike and Miss Vera and Mr. Kirk took boxes to the center that is the collection point this a.m.

Great job on the boxes. I'm not sure what our final box count was, but not that many! Just super.

I love that you all prayed over the boxes. We did that at home, but I like the collective prayer at the chapel.

I think our church collected about the same number. I love this charity. It's such a great thing for the giver AND the receiver.

It really WAS a lot of fun. The students on base really got into this project.

We did our boxes ten days ago, and true to form, I didn't get them turned in until yesterday--at the last possible hour, lol.

Great show for your chapel!

Great job! Our church was a relay center this year & they announced on Sunday that we had taken in about 300 at that point. They still had a few more to put together though. One little boy in our church went around to his neighbors & handed out shoeboxes. He brought in 23!!! I love this charity.
