Weekly Fitness Goals

Weekly Goal - 240 Minutes (40 minutes most days)
Totaly Weekly Minutes - 190 minutes

Annual Goal - 11,700 minutes (2900 by end of March)
Minutes to Date - 3,022


Monday - 65 Minutes (20 min Treadmill, 20 min Elliptical, 25 min reccumbent bike)
Tuesday - 45 Minutes (recumbent bike)
Wednesday - 65 Minutes (20 elliptical; 25 recumbent bike, 20 min cybex weight machines)
Saturday - 15 minutes (misc walking while camping)
I didn't make 240 minutes this week. I'm trying not to beat myself up as I WAS ill most the past two weeks and WAS out of town for 3 of the days. I did begin getting some strength training in and will continue to get that in this week. My goal is 3x a week.

I'm blessed to have the FREE GYM at the base, but it IS costing me 2 gal of gas a day....and that is adding up to a LOT of $. I'm starting to consider Gold's Gym. I loved Curves but for my metabolism 30 min workouts didn't cut it. I'm still not dropping weight, but that's o.k. I'll keep working at it.  Eventually it will begin to creep off.

That's right and really the big push for cardio is my pesky heart profile....so while loosing weight would be GREAT for cholesterol - any cardio is also good. Thanks for the reminder.

Good job on doing aerobics! I used to go to Gold's Gym (where I met DH ha!) but now am too poor lol. Maybe with Pres. Bush's incentive money...

Denise - yep a new look.

I thought Gold's gym was to expensive - they wouldn't tell me what they cost unless I signed up an I don't want a contract....

HOWEVER - driving my 15 pass van to our FREE base gym is costing me $31.70- 38.04 a WEEK in gas....sure I do pick up milk while up there and such but I would NOT be driving up there 5 - 6 days a week other than the gym....

That's $126.80 - 152.16 every 4 weeks for gas to go to the free gym. Now - if gas prices went down.... LOL

Ouch! Is there another time of day you could go when you could use a smaller vehicle? We're fortunate to have a free military gym that's close (about 8 minutes away) and I only have an 8 passenger van to drive. Now I just need to figure out how to fit it into the schedule.

Even if you don't have to go far the cost of gas is sure adding up these days.

No - though Mike is thinking of another commuter care for me to drive when I don't have all with me.

Mike leaves early and doesn't come home until late - 11:30 p.m. last night.....he has the car that gets 40mph...I took it to Bible study tonight. LOL

Oh my! If I were to post *my* fitness goals for the week, they would look something like:

Get out of bed by 7:00 each day.

Go for a walk down the street 5x.

What I'm beginning to wonder: Do they have more hours in the day in your part of the country? I don't know HOW you do it. All. And you do.
