Can you guess what's on the shelf in my fridge?
It's a jar of insects. We are studying flying insects this week in science. They are cold-blooded (is that right?) and therefore slow down in the cold. We caught some and studied them, put them in the fridge and then.....
studied the difference in their movements...interesting....then we put them back OUTSIDE where they belong.....

I'm glad you're doing your science ahead of us; it gives me great ideas :) I hope we have our new fridge before we do THAT though. We can put our insects in the basement in the old refrigerator LOL.

Stacia looks so tall! She'll be walking before you know it :)

We were disappointed that we couldn't find a bigger variety of insects....we plan to try this again. We found ANTS....but you know this may be the way to deal with TX ants....freeze them!
