God gave us Jesus. God gave because He loved us (John 3:16).
The wise men (Magi) give gifts in the Christmas story.
The Bible tells us to give gifts. We are to always be giving because that is what the Bible says. Luke 6:38.

God gave us a gift of His son, Jesus.
The wise men (Magi) brought gifts for the child, Jesus. Some think this is the start of gift-giving…but God gave first. John 3:16 tells us about God’s gift.

Here are the books the children made (blurbs from above will be added when I have a printer again LOL). The stars say "We saw His star in the east and have come to worship him - Matt 2:2" and "When the wise men saw the star they were filled with great joy - Matt 2:10".

This lapbook is sounding cute. Look forward to seeing the finished product.
I have no idea how we'll KNOW when it IS finished...any ideas? I know that we can't do every symbol....but they are having fun with this and I want to so brain wash them that each time they see a Christmas symbol it will somehow draw their mind to Christ. LOL
I am trying to figure out how to make the "folder" to put it all in - but I think I'd best wait until we know we are DONE making little books....or how do you all handle that who make your own projects like this.....
WE ARE enjoying this much more than the other kits we've tried.
maybe it'll be an ongoing project that you bring out and work on each year? Maybe you can do a flap book with "pages" in it.. you know the kind of dividers that they use in medical offices and instead of folding the folder sides into the center you just use it as a folder with pages... you can insert a LOT of pages when you add those page insert thingies and they hold really well.
Just a thought.
Cindy - I haven't a clue. I'll have to read your email again and see if I can figure out what you are talking about. LOL Have you seen these to buy at like Office Max?
