WEDNESDAY

I've not been incredibly productive - but I did survive the day - and that sometimes says a LOT. ::snort::

I went to Curves, where I discovered I gained another pound this week. ::snort::

Yesterday we started cookies. Zander and Nolan were so excited. We finally go to the last line and it said, "put the dough in the fridge OVERNIGHT." Oh my WORD. I promised we'd bake them first thing this a.m. So we did.

Kim dropped by with her two little men. The boys had fun playing, we discussed earth shattering things like the type of honey I wanted and where to buy raw cashews now that SN won't be delivering to us. ::snort:: Actually, she brought me a gal of coconut oil and took 2 gal jars for me to purchase honey.

We had lunch.

We did school while Stacia napped. It's been in the 70's. Gorgeous. We did school on the swing.

Mike called and won't be home until after 9 or 10:00 tonight.

Took Jamin to work - played. Printed out the Holiday Planner....and now I'm going to maybe post a recipe or something.

I run into that a lot with King Arthur whole grain recipes. Eventually, I will learn to look for that line! The latest is when I planned to make an apple pie this weekend and then discovered the crust had to sit over night. Oh well, it was worth the wait. I am now waiting for the kids to get settled in bed so I can go sneak another slice! LOL

Fortunately, not all their recipes require that!

I can just imagine the looks on their faces when you got to the "last line" . . .I think I would of had a hard time waiting too! LOL

I offered to let them eat the dough but - and I didn't want to put this in the main blog because well it's gross....but Zander said it looked like "spitting poop" - diareha and he didn't want to try it. By the next morning he and Stacia were eating it by the spoonful as I raced to get them on cookie sheets. ::snort::

You are SO good! Holly and I made batter several days ago--it was supposed to chill overnight. We finally made them tonight.

Meanwhile, Robert kept "sneaking" raw cookie dough. We ended up with less than 3 dozen cookies--from a recipe that used 3 STICKS of butter. LOL.
