Prayer Requests

I haven't known just what to say. I thought of writing a fancy memorial; but haven't had the heart quite yet.

My Aunt Clara has gone home to be with Jesus. I know some of you prefer "died" and I really don't have a problem with saying she died, or with death, but for Aunt Clara this is LIFE. Aunt Clara was 81 years old and suffered from altzheimer's. Uncle Jim has been taking care of her. Please pray for my family this week.

Please also pray for Elle - daughter of Deja. She had what was thought to be a stomach bug and got dehydrated. She's been in and out of the hospital. She simply can't keep ANYTHING down and it's been 2 weeks. She is back in the hospital today. Please pray for this sweet girl. Hmmm....I can't remember how old she is....younger than 9 and older than 6. Pray as God leads....I'm praying for either quick healing or quick diagnosis of the problem. I miss Elle's spirit and spunk. She's Zander's female counterpart.

You're so sweet to include Ellie in your prayer requests. I was thinking of you today as they upgraded Ellie to a liquid diet...and they brought in 2 bowls of RED JELLO for Ellie to eat... Our mantra is "Get her healthy and deal with the preservative/color fallout later..." LOL. You should have seen her 'buzzy' after a bowl of jello!

I'm so sorry for your loss, but I rejoice with you that she's worshiping at the feet of Jesus tonight! When my grandmother passed the song "I Can Only Imagine" was fairly new. She also had a form of dementia, and that song brought immense joy to us. We could imagine her singing all the songs she loved with the angels with no fear of forgetting again since there is no sadness to be had. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and there for Elle as well!

Sis: We too will add Elle to our prayers just now. She must be a special kid to be a counterpart to Alexander.

De'Etta, I am sorry for your loss, but rejoicing with your Aunt who is dancing with Jesus.

I will be adding Elle to my prayer list. Good to hear that she is improving.
