Newing....

We celebrated Jamin's 18th Birthday yesterday....and yes, his birthday was 20 Feb but Mike was home with Dad Earl.

Jamin asked that we go canoeing (dubbed newing by Stacia) after Chapel. Here are some shots - random order because I'm TIRED....and they all looked fine on my computer...and flipped in PB...but I'm hoping they'll flip back on the screen like they did sometime between last night and this a.m. in the previous post. LOL

Stacia & I kicked back and enjoyed the ride.

We had thought we would sell both canoes before our move. We're not so sure now. It was so nice to get out away from everything...except near the park where ONCE AGAIN a kid aimed a bb gun at us....and there was that potato rocket too.

Sis:

As always, what cute kids... Arielle and Stacia steal the show on this one when it comes to cute.

Hey, one canoe in Texas and one in Oregon. There would be room for the kids to store it here and for sure there are plently of places to use it.

The canoe in the van is funny! Great idea though.

Fun pictures.

I'm going to keep the canoe in the van idea in my mind for later :) I suppose you can't rest it on the top of the kids' carseats with their heads inside. Imagine how loud that would get :) I've got room in the barn for both- although I guess it'd be kinda hard to get them here!

Where do you sit with a canoe inside the van? (LOL)!

LOL! You guys are great.

We had some in the front....some on either side of the canoe and some in the small car following behind. LOL

1. Lakes in Texas?

2. Canoeing in March?

3. Love the depth that your photos show, if that makes sense. Everything close seems to POP; it looks great.

4. Hah, you need to bring a catapult next time. Show BBboy and Mr. Potato Head...

(just kidding on #4!)

Lake Nasworthy - big lake....fun to explore...though I won't swim in it.

It was upper 80's - can you believe it???

Photos - I really think it is because they are on black...I like bright and cheery but the darker colors make the photos POP.

#4 - I thought the same thing. LOL
