These long distance relationships can be oh so fun. ::snort:: I left the trac phone at the house and Mike called. It was garbled and all Jared could here was "Japan"....but he ran all the way up the hill to find me to give me the phone. Good boy! ::snort::
Mike called in between services to give me a quick update. Here are two specific prayer requests.
1. He has a lead on a couple of cars that will fit our family and seem to be in our budget. Pray for discernment and such...and of course if this is going to be EASY, it would be nice if he could get the first one he wants. ::snort::
2. Housing - it appears we have an OCCUPANCY issue which will keep us out of the 4-plex units on base. HOWEVER, Mike is hearing there are "several" families who have been granted exceptions and are living in the Towers in two units. Mike will be putting in the paperwork tomorrow (our Sunday/their Monday), pray that IF God wants us on base we will find favor with those who must approve the exception...and IF God wants us off base that we will find favor with Japanese landlords who may have the same occupancy qualms.
3. Of course, we ask that you keep praying for that one last birth certificate and for the details that I need to navigate to get the children and I to Japan.
