Oh - I got a design back from geocaching nickels.....I think I'm going to like them when he is done. He's still tweaking things for me.Now I really need to do some internet shopping and head to bed.....our Rosetta Stone disc is cracking. I guess I'll have to buy a new program. UGH

Sorry to hear about your Rosetta Stone disk. Ours quit working because all of our computers are too fast for it. Sigh. So, we are taking a break from Spanish till I can afford to upgrade.
What are the kids planting for Mike?
Are you working with the fella that makes the wooden coins. We hope to get some of those. We have found them in caches and they are very nice.

We do like Rosetta....probably because it is straight forward and easy for the kids to do independently.....I simply don't want to buy another program. Do you all make back up discs of expensive programs like this? I'm thinking that is a good idea. We had a drive that blew up a Mech Warrior game and Jamin thinks the crack in this one began around the same time????
I really am not sure what they planted...I think some cherry seeds and maybe apples???? I'll ask them.
Yes...we're getting some geonickles from MD something or other...Mark. He was very good about playing with the design until I liked it. I ordered them this a.m. so we'll see how long it takes for them arrive...soon I hope.
Are the wooden nickels from the man who has been mentioned on SHS? If so, Karen from MT also on SHS had some of those made for her dh and they turned out REALLY NICE!

Yes, I make a backup disc of expensive or hard to find program CDs/DVDs (RS, DIVE, etc) and we work from the backup not the original.
