Tuesday

Josiah is back to work.

Krista and Bre have had conversations with folks from Master's. They also organized everyone to play a game of Dominoes....and we watched a Samantha movie. Krista had taped 3 of the American Girl movies for Arielle for Christmas.

I dried apples, baked 4 loaves of bread and made dinner.

The youngers played all sorts of games, enjoyed the trampoline and had fun with the girls.

Krista figured out how to get CD's to load to the ipods.

Bre hooked up the card reader from the crashed computer to THIS computer. The reader on this computer seems to have gone out. When she did that for some STRANGE reason one of the color printers began to work. Who knows???? At one point she had the wireless mouse from the crashed computer controlling the screen on this computer...but that seems to have resolved itself.

ARGH....IE7 updated just fine on this computer but something went wrong when the other computer was upgrading and now we have Internet on ONE computer....I need to figure out how to blow the IE out and try it all over....but since we can't get online at all on that computer I have no idea how to download it. LOL Anyway - they can't go to the itunes store until we can get the computers to work well.

I typed some entries to post but the photos won't load, so I'll try tomorrow a.m.

That's the day in a nutshell.

De'Etta - Can you ask Krista why she doesn't like Apples to Apples - I have been thinking about purchasing it but now I am not sure. Thanks!

Krista and one other friend she has have been ruined by years of logical thinking in homeschool. It bothers her that the game is about comparisons and yet the judge can choose things that are NOT accurate synonyms....this inconsistency grates on her. She doesn't "get it" and doesn't think the words are funny at all.

The rest of us LOVE the game and she and her friend are the first ones I've ever heard of who seriously don't get the game and don't enjoy it at all. LOL

LOL... at least she has her reasons. We like it because it forces us to think like the "judge." IOW, I can't think about what *I* think is the best match I have to try to think like the judge would think.

De, you sure are have the computer problems.... sigh..... it's so hard when there are so many technical things going wrong. It would sure be nice if you could find someone to help you. A few years ago I had to finally break down and hire someone to keep up with all of our computer issues... there just got to be too many for me to keep up with... and it's actually $$ well spent because she can do in an hour what it would take me DAYS and many headaches to accomplish. Maybe there is someone like that in your area? A friend of a friend of a friend who does this on the side so to speak?

What a busy day, nice day with all the kids just being themselves, and everyone being together.

Dad sleps all day until 2pm so i went out shopping like dreaming and etc. love watching everyone hurry to be the first to get this or that. Super sales sure do bring out the worst in some people and for me I'd like to think the best. :):) Didn't get much but at Wallmart we had two gift cards so............

C - *WE* love Apples to Apples and have explained this to her - she just doesn't "GET" why we think this is FUN. ::snort::

I have a great friend here, Debbie, whose dh was the deputy commander of the Comm squadron (Communications). He has been here a couple of times to help us. The crashed computer needs to go to our ID computer guru.....when he is back from Christmas in CA...I will call and ask about these new things.....
