Yay! They are DONE for another year! 2006 taxes are flying through cyberspace. I remembered the Children's AK PFD money at the last moment and had to fix that, but I think it is all done! I found enough deductions with the help of Turb Tax to get quite a healthy return. I've proposed to Mike that the $400 filing fee that several friends have been quoted should go to ME! I could buy a new grain mill and dehydrator....or I could go to a Wing Chaplain's conference with him I suppose.....though, oh yeah, I'd need to figure out what to do for the little ones....that's right...that's why I don't go with him on these business trips. LOL We had one blessed year when the older girls were still living at home, driving, and not minors....and we took advantage of it. LOL

Way to go! Wow, I'm really impressed...so is Turbo Tax worth the money. Our usual tax guy has cut way down this year and I'm wondering if we should just try and do it ourselves?

WHOO HOO! We had to give up doing our taxes 10 years ago. I'm just about done getting the stuff ready for our accountant though... I hope to finish it next week!

Sis: Congrats on the taxes. I have ours to do yet but need to find out how we file workers comp and social security. We miss the days of deductions but you all grew up and left the nest. :):)

Debbie TT was WELL worth the $20 - 30 that it cost to get it. They found 6K more $ for us...electronically filed it...and helped me remember things like "AK PFD". LOL
Who Hoo! Great Job! Hey what is the kids AK PFD? I know it stands for the Alaska something, but care to explain?

Congrats!!! I TRIED to do the taxes but it was soooo confusing because of our move that I finally had a nervous break down and handed it to Dh who got it done last night.LOL We like the Turbo Tax thing also and e-filed again this year. Good Job!!!
