WACKY WEDNESDAY

~Made breakfast burritos, hash browns and smoothies for the children for breakfast.

~Snow, snow, snow - enough that we still have some tonight but hardly any by AK standards.

~Teeny, tiny snowman building contest (no photos - ugh)

~School

~Got to talk to Mike today - 2 more months to go. We are looking at mid-March rather than early March now....maybe April.

~Made co-op phone calls

~Tried to track down Mike's w-2 when I realized that I can't file for Josiah's financial aide until we do our income taxes....but the base was closed at 2:00 p.m. Which explains why our friends dh didn't want her driving and we were stood up for a play date!

~Encore Presentation for dinner

~Housebound due to weather for 5 days now....enjoying the down time....lots of reading, snuggling and game playing.....

~Praying the roads are clear by Friday a.m. when I have to be out early.

W2s for active duty military are not out yet (supposed to be Jan 22nd) but DeEtta you do NOT need to file taxes to do financial aid forms... do the FAFSA now... use estimates (use Mike's last LES for the year end stuff).. if you wait until after you do taxes you'll get less money becuase more of it will already have been committed to other folks... at least that's what I understand from what I've read

Praying for Josiah! A special time in a person's life and oh so much prayer is needed. Sure am glad your kid's heads are on straight.

Really, Renee? This is totally confusing me because it says line such and such from 1040 and so I have no clue...I could use LAST years....hmmm...

Where do you ever find time to cook breakfast? Argh! How do you keep up, DeEtta -- especially with your dh gone?

Linda - Ah - I have a 15/16 yo who is a manic about his SCHEDULE. He asks me each night what I'm making for breakfast....really he does need structure so I try very hard....let me tell you it isn't in MY nature!

I get up early. Breakfast at 7 a.m. - I work out while the olders start/continue school and the youngers (9 and 8 yo) clean up. I shower while the do their table work. Then we all do family circle and then I do couch school with the youngers. Work with Nolan on phonics and then it's lunch! Then I crash!
