I know this is not a good photo, but I was in the throes of produce co-op when this happened.
The younger ones do NOT remember TX at all. They remember AK. We did not have near the creepy crawlies in AK that we have in TX.
They finally caught a lizard. First, they were mortified that his tail came off. I explained that it would grow back. I was really shocked they caught one. They were going to feed it crickets, we were headed to the pet store and noted that something was wrong with their little lizzard. It died. Next, they had a ceremony and buried it. THEN, they found it gone and a bird feather nearby. They are sure a bird ate it. I told them that maybe it wasn't dead and moved. They are sad.

My kids all love the lizards. It's big entertainment around here.LOL
UGH.... I don't like those big creepy crawlies that you guys have down there!
A lizard, huh? They told Doug that it was a Horny Toad...LOL Maybe another trip to the Nature Center is called for ;-)
mo9m? What you need to do is lower your privacy control for ads, then refresh your sister's page. You will see the pictures then, promise!
Yay, little lizards! Loved the geckos in Texas. Just as likely the little guy scuttled to safety..well, its possible anyhow. Hoping, cause I like geckos - weird commercials not withstanding. lol
Susan
We are not crazy about the lizards but my dog and my parents dog loves them :-)
small little orange lizard - not sure why he called it a horney toad....I bet it was Zander he likes the sound of "horny toad" and has even called his sister a HT.
LOL, Trevor was crushed the first time he was left holding the lizard's tail! The whole time, I was thinking "lucky lizard!"
Sorry to hear that their first lizard escaped, died or was eaten. Hope they will find another one soon.
