My boys think it's funny that 6 inches of snow qualifies for a snow warning. However, with now sand and salt for the roads and no snow tires...*I* appreciate the warning! We may get snow!
Today...Cloudy with rain showers likely in the morning...then rain showers and snow likely in the afternoon.. Snow accumulation up to 2 inches. Highs in the upper 30s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 70 percent.
Tonight...Cloudy with snow or rain likely. Snow accumulation of 1 to 4 inches. Total snow accumulation 1 to 6 inches. Lows in the lower 30s. North winds 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 70 percent.

But have you watched W. Texan's drive in snow/ice/sleet and any mixture of the above? It is hazardous!!!!

Sis:
Dad saw that on TV this morning and commented people would be having a hard time knowing how to drive.
Maybe you all and those who also know snow driving could put up signs and for a fee teach others how to drive on snow. :):)
I'm with the boys in their idea about what constitutes a snow storm.
Will be praying for you as you all have to drive if/when it snows.

Linda - I removed your comment only because it listed our location.
Follow the panhandle down to where TX blossoms; we're in that general area.
Nola - Yes, I've seen it - and the rain isn't a lot better. LOL
Wow - You're going to have a snow this season before we are... and I'm in Ohio! lol Enjoy it. :)
LOL!
