OK - point one and two have been heard often if you are a friend of mine:

1. Do first things first...determine your priority and do it first. Then the most important thing is always done.

2. Do the next thing...just keep plugging along.....

BUT here's the new Christmas TWIST!

3. Make a list....put the IMPORTANT things at top, balanced with the urgent things, keep going...list every little thing you need to accomplish - in order of importance.

4. Tear the list in half...throw the bottom 1/2 of the list away....don't stress.

It works. It was hard to do the portfolio instead of the Christmas cards...but hey... It will be much better for friends and family to get late cards than to have to pay a late fee on the portfolio...and this way I can glean current addresses from friends who send cards etc...because I've still not found the address book on the computer. LOL

Another plus of finishing the portfolio is knowing you're free to fellowship with your loved ones w/out the stress of the portfolio waiting to be completed! Great job prioritizing!

Sis:

We are sending a box with our Christmas card addresses and enough cards so you can do them for us along with the other stuff you have to do. :):):):):):)

I'll probably get the necessary ones done on the plane trip. :):) at least I'll stay awake and not snore. :):(:(:(

I've known folks that do not send their Christmas cards out until at least 26 December (no mail on 25 Dec) because prior to then it's not Christmas, it's Advent.... so you have until 6 January to get Christmas cards in the mail :)

OH DEAR! I don't think my account or our employees would like it if I cut my list in 1/2 today (LOL). They're toward the bottom - urgent, but not as "important" as the things at the top of the list (LOL), but still it all has to get done somehow.

Well See - Cindy - really it doesn't all have to get done....that's the point. LOL

Because I'm not looking at a day to day list - I'm thinking long term here. LOL I suspect YOU cut your list in 1/2 before you make it...some of us think we can do it all every day. ::snort::
