Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Scenes from the Day

Early this a.m. I got a load of bread baked. I need to do this a few more times before next weekend. Deja - THESE are all natural, fresh milled, organic.....

It appears that we have "mice" - what else would account for a nibbled loaf of bread???? ::snort::

Darshia, the tree has a new look - thanks for the idea.

Um...when mom is busy on portfolios you can get permission for nearly anything! Note to self: clarify what is meant when you hear, "Mom can we paint?" ::snort::

I don't do coffee. I used to do tea. Then I began to worry about the caffeine. Deja introduced me to CS mint decaf green tea....but THIS stuff is really, really good. I'm stocking up.

Yeah, I know. I've been told that decaf is worse than caffeine...but the caffeine may trigger my migraines...not sure what to do on this one. LOL

Love the tree and the painting results! And, what do you mean decaf is worse than caffeine?? Uh oh... I guess I need to go ready and see why. Caffeine makes my heart condition skip like a school girl, so I have a shelf and a half full of decaf teas.

We discovered the Candy Cane Tea about 2 years ago. My oldest son enjoys! I bought a big box last year and we are almost through it. Yummy!

Stephanie - I have no CLUE - something about the process to make tea decaf is worse than a bit of caffeine...BUT some teas are NATURALLY decaf. I need to research and see if green tea is natural or processed decaf....regardless I can drink it without getting headaches so this may be one of those things I just do even if it isn't perfectly healthy? KWIM? Sort of like I know a lot of folks who grind their grain, eat organic and drink COFFEE.....so I'm o.k. with this. ::snort::

I think the tree is going to be cute. I think the leaves aren't quite "Christmasy" at the bottom but they ARE authentic for this time of the year down here. ::snort::

Sis:

Maybe it was Ceicl together with your youngest who testes the bread. :) Am looking forward to eating some of your bread.

HUMMM... green tea that taste good...... green tea is good for several things included is weight loss for which I need it. YUCK! There is even a lot of debate as to decaf.

Like what you've done with your tree.

How is it that kids seem to ask to do messy things when we're distracted. I think I had two such episodes in the past week!

I wonder if the mouse in your house is names Stacia...or Zander!

I'm not much of a tea drinker but this sounds nice to have in the house this time of year, maybe I'll pick one up.

Yummy! I LOVE the CS holiday teas. In addition to the Candy Cane, I also enjoy Gingerbread Spice, and Sugar Plum Spice. And there appears to be 2-3 other flavours on their webpage.

The mouse was named NOLAN!

I'm not brave enough to try the other holiday teas. LOL

De'Etta, I'm so thrilled to have my name mentioned not once, but TWICE in one blog entry ::snort:: Thought about you yesterday as we decorated our gingerbread folks...with m&ms and skittles:-) At least the cookies were HOMEMADE!

LOL Deja. I try not to use local folks names or photos unless I know they won't mind. Like I say "my friend S" instead of you know who who is in the corner of the portfolio picture. ::snort::

BUT I know you will deal with the fame of being mentioned by name on the blog alright. LOL

"The mouse was named NOLAN"?? To quote a friend: ::snort::

And what's with decaf? It seems that it doesn't really matter WHAT you eat, something in it is determined by someone to be "bad." Hmm. I'm currently drinking coffee mixed 3:2 regular:decaf. I guess I'm doing double damage, lol.

Yep - a mouse named Nolan.

I haven't a clue WHY decaf is supposed to be bad for you and I've not cared enough to research - yet! LOL
