ACK!!! Happy Birthday, DAD!!!!

Photobucket
THIS:
was supposed to keep me from embarassing moments like the above. It was a gift this year at Christmas. I have had a few minutes to breathe in the hectic pace of last week. I updated the blog. I knew Dad's birthday was coming up - I thought the 17th. I flipped the calendar page to see who else had a birthday in March and there is DAD listed on 15 March. ARGH.
I feel like pond scum. They are out celebrating with my brother today.....I'm doomed to feel like pond scum until I can reach Dad. ARGH. I'm even reading a book about how to honor your parents without guilt while raising your children without regrets. I feel guilt....but it will be o.k. when I talk to Daddy.

Glad you realized it before any more days went by.

My Dad emailed me on my birthday this year. His goal is to hit the right month LOL. I was amazed and shocked when he hit the right day. He even mentioned it to me today when I saw him at my nephew's bday party. Yep, Dad, I did notice you got the right day LOL.

{Smiling} Your not alone in oops! Gh took us on a lovely drive in the sun to Seward and shared excellent dinner...Half way home I remembered I left my coat w/all keys in the restaurant...I know what I'm doing Monday!

I trust your Dad loves you and your guilt will pass.{G}

Where did you get that birthday calender? That would be wonderful to have. My email server allows me to enter birthdays and sends me reminders. Maybe that could be an option for you. I am sure your dad is fine and loves you all the more knowing how distressing this is to you.

Sis:

Love those b-day cal's. I finaly found mine again at the bottom of the pile on the dest.

Don't feel bad... Dad made the comment on the 1th that you folks must be very busy because you never forget. Once in a lifetime is not a problem.

Nathaniel enjoyed talking to you. Dad had an interesting Sunday. Ate out after church with Will/Sherri. Then in the afternoon Nathaniel and Nadia went with us to the antique car show.... WOW! Such awesome cars! Even my favorite a 57 T-Bird! Then last night we went to Nathaniel/Heather's for ice-cream etc.

Fun was had by all!

Just this week and then Easter vacation for a week! Big plans to get a lot done. :):((:(

love/prayers

Yep - dad was fine.

Gilda - I got the calendar at a "Day by Day" calendar store in the mall. They set up after Thanksgiving and are gone by New Year's.
