Lug the carpet to the fence

Heave Ho

It is WET

There are PEOPLE in this picture

After they hung it, Jared washed it with Odoban and the powerwasher....then rinsed well.

I am feeling REMARKABLY better. I do believe the mold was getting to me. We also had produce co-op, drama class, shopping, and start of April's United ordering process.
We watched "One Night with the King" for family night. That is a WRAP, and technically, it's Saturday - but I'm going to cheat and backdate the time. ::snort::

Glad you were able to get the carpet out of the house and cleaned! A cement only floor would be hard.
I have mold and mildew allergies, so I can totally feel your pain. We have a crack in the foundation of our duplex...last summer, after heavy rains, water seeped in from the corner in our office. My office looked sort of like your boys' room....everything piled in the middle. But the blessing is that since we rent, the rental company sent in industrial carpet cleaners to come and suck the water up and steam it...not once, not twice, but THREE times.
They fixed the crack by pouring a 5 gallon bucket of tar down the hole on the side of the foundation. Hasn't leaked since, but spring rains are due....
I do think there is a residual mold issue though...whenever I'm down in the office, I have allergy attacks.

WOW! What a good job your folks did, the carpet looks real clean! Reminds me of the hundreds of times I have used hoses to clean carpet and 8'x12' area carpets overseas and at home. IT WORKS but sure is a hard and big job. I never have cleaned one as big as your though, PTL!
Glad you are feeling better.
