MOMYS Cookbook giveaway

I want to start my "Blogoversary" week off with a giveaway. I have a "never-used" copy of the MOMYS cookbook that I will give to a reader who leaves a comment below. MOMYS (Moms of Many Young Siblings) is an internet group. They've compiled a HUGE cookbook. This book has over 1600 recipes. Each recipe is sized for a min of 8 servings. There are a variety of recipes included for all eating styles. The first edition sold out quickly. Marmee Dear is currently taking orders for the second edition. You can pre-order a copy of this cookbook at Marmee Dear for $29.95; shipping will begin in late November.

If you'd like to win a copy, simply leave a comment (be sure I have contact info).

I love cookbooks!
Although our family is only 5 strong, my son is eating enough for two, so that gets us up to six, and then we can still have left overs!
I know that shipping to Thailand is prohibitive, just getting the comments started for you! :)

Wow! I HEART cookbooks, and my biggest complaint is the lack of inexpensive, large-family-friendly recipes! If I don't win this, I'm gonna just have to break down and buy one! :o)

I've been wanting this cookbook. How cool that you are giving it away.

OK, so I don't have lots and lots of kiddos, but I do have 3 teen BOYS and that means doubling of recipes LOL.

And thanks for encouraging me to get back to blogging. I did :)

Oh, and Happy Blogaversary :)

De'Etta, it has been a joy getting to know you and your family better.

I'd be happy to be entered into this contest. The cookbook sounds wonderful!

Wow, three years. I didn't realize you had your blog a whole year longer than I've had mine! That's a lot of blogging.

This recipe book looks terrific. I must admit to still trying to figure out how to cook for a larger family.

Can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve this week.

I want to be in the drawing- but truthfully I'm not cooking from recipes much anymore. Beans and rice or beans and bread or beans and meat or pasta and meat or just beans seems to be all we eat! Easy and inexpensive.

This book looks like fun. I love to cook and sometimes need to feed a crowd.

Btw, happy 400th post!!! Congrats and all that wonderful stuff! ;)

While I don't have a large family, I do have several friends who have a large family or are working towards one, so I thought I'd enter this one just in case I might be lucky enough to win...I can give this as a gift to one of those families.

you can always email me at CWOLF!

Happy Happy Blogaversary (did you make up that word? :)

How fun to see earlier posts and to realize how far its come! I recommended your blog to a friend using TOG and we both talk about you during our co-op (good stuff, of course! hehe).

I didn't realize the MOMYS cookbook was being reprinted, I knew they planned to offer bulk orders. That is Really Good News!

Congrats again. You're a blessing to many, thank you for sharing your life (and your family!) with us.

I have an empty nest- with a son who cooks for many fly boys and a daughter who cooks for who ever shows up at their table (which seems to happen a lot).
Go Army/ Go Marines (Sorry, my dd left the Air Force to cook for the Marine and their baby).
Congrats on your blogging- I'd love to win the book!

What a great idea for a cookbook! Teaching my kids to cook, the first thing I drill into their brains is DOUBLE THE RECIPE. ;-)

Happy blogoversary to you, De'Etta!

Although we're a family of 4, this cookbook would be wonderful for planned leftovers or freezing a second meal. Thanks for the opportunity, De'Etta! And congratulations on your 3rd blogoversary!

Thank you, and happy blogoversary!

Please enter me in this, we have a very large family and this would help a lot! When we all eat together (which is often) there is a total of 12 people! And only 4 of those are adults!

I would LOVE to own a copy of this cookbook! I always cook for crowds (we have a HUGE extended family) and there's someone over for dinner at least twice a week - on my husband's side there are six brothers/sisters and they all live in the same city! If I'm eligible (I'm from Canada) I would love to be entered. I'm always looking for ways to mix up dinner, this would be perfect, thank you for the opportunity to win!

We're a small household- fiance, me, and two kids- but my fiance has a lot of family. Their usual small gatherings usually consist of at least 10 people aside from us and 3 or 4 children. This sounds like it would be a great cookbook for finding meals when we have his family come visit!
