TRUE CONFESSIONS

 WHY I SHOULDN'T SHOP AT SAM'S ALONE

I went in for a tracfone annual card for Krista and some bubble wrap - I spent over $200. I didn't want to go to walmart and so I decided to go for the big box of bubble wrap. I need to wrap a hard drive. ::snort:: THEN I had to buy some darling shirts and a long distance card for each of the girls.... and THEN....
they had the cutest little, white haired lady passing out samples. No one was buying. I felt bad for her. She asked if I'd like a sample. She was visibly crushed when I didn't. SO I BOUGHT HER PRODUCT!!! Then I was hoping someone I knew would come along and take it and put it back in the freezer. This made me think how much we've changed our eating in 11 months. We used to have these sorts of dinners all the time - but we don't EAT these things with um...preservatives and ingredients I can't pronounce and BACON in them....but I now have a family size box of bacon, cheese and eggs hot pockets. The boys were thrilled. I think they sense they won a skirmish in the Bacon Revolt or what did Jared call it? The Organo fast food civil war....

Sis: One little kid I know in this area says their family calls Cosco and Sam's the $100 stores.

De'Etta--yes, I think Costco type stores just manage to suck my money right out from my pocket. $200 is probably actually a low number. Ha!

How nice to see that you have come so far in your eating/cooking.

I love Curves. You can get a good workout there. It is all about how hard you work those machines. Work the machines as hard and fast as you can, expending your energy on the machines, and then use the recovery board just to keep your heartrate up. You don't want to overdo the recovery board.

I wrote a more detailed reply on SHS about what I love about Curves.

Glad your day went well~Kelly

That is why I don't go to WalMart. I can never get out of there without spending at least $100.

I totally do this all the time. That's why it's been months since my last trip to the warehouse. I've found it's worse than Walmart/target for me, cause I end up with everything in BULK!lol

Probably your big boys hired the cute older woman to make you wnt to buy the hot pockets! Or if they didn't they may now.

Sis: However the thing that really saved Dad/my behinds is I had a full pantry and freezers (you know how big it all is) of stuff and so for the past 9 months I have not had to buy a lot of food other than basic SUGAR and cereal.

I am trying to not buy so much in bulk but a lifetime of this is hard to break. :):):)

The only think we can't buy in bulk and manage to save is candy and icecream. :):)
