Mike and Josiah are still at work and Jared is at CAP. Jamin is resting. The young boys are playing play station, Arielle is reading and Stacia is doing the bumper bounce thing off each of us. I think I’ll update the blog and maybe even have time to read some blogs and email tonight….
Saturday was Ladies Day Out for the Chapel. We went to a local historical establishment. At one time it was a “house of ill repute”. Now it is a really OLD building, full of antique decorations, with pretty good food.
I got the idea while we were window shopping after lunch that I should make a “visual shopping list” for my young men. I took a picture of the sign of the stores…and then the items IN the stores that I liked….things like the earlier chocolate signs and these – to show just a few. LOL

Sunday was a full day. We had Sunday School, 3 services, a fellowship and a potluck. No wonder I can’t keep the weight off. ::snort:: I had wanted to talk with the girls this weekend but between the migraine and the schedule…it didn’t happen.
Monday and Tuesday I was still dealing with pretty bad headaches. We did get some school done. Tuesday night Bible Study was fun. We had 4 new women show up.
Yesterday and today I’ve been functional. We got school done.
The kids painted fall crafts.
Arielle and Nolan helped put together our blessing mix.
Zander took a look and asked if he could play outside when he saw it was food he doesn’t eat. Thank GOD – I was worried about this.
Stacia “helped”.
As soon as I can get the color printer to work, we’ll print out the tags and be able to pass these out.
I had to cancel produce co-op for this week due to low numbers. I decided to drive to the base and drop off boxes and check to see what the commissary would charge me for a case of apples. It turns out they have just started carrying organic produce. The prices aren’t bad at all. I got a case of apples for $36. We can make it to next Friday. LOL
Arielle and I began buying things to fill our Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.
Jared had HoF today. They have a new rule that is strictly enforceable: “No children within 3 feet of the fence”. This should help the dog and his owner when he gets to come back home.
When I dropped Jared off, I dropped by Wholesome Foods. I was so hoping they’d have a few of the things we are out of – they didn’t. What they did have was incredibly more money than we were paying with the truck delivery. Ugh. I’m still checking into other options.

Great idea for a visual shopping list!
De'Etta, I may be borrowing your visual shopping list idea! :)
Yea! More blessings being passed around.
Even with your headache, you had a great week.
We are hoping to make the blessing bags and hand them out next week. Thanks for the reminder! :-)
Glad to see your headache is now passing. I think it left you and popped over to me :-) I might have to dive into my Tylenol to help shake this one.
I'm sorry Emily.
Love the various signs. Good boy Zander to stay away from the bad for him stuff. You did well this week considering how you felt.
I really need some of these signs, Jodi.
Yes, I'm making myself function now that I see this is the way life is going to be for a bit of time. LOL
