Making the Most of the Day

Yesterday was another full day. We arrived at the photo studio at 10:00 a.m.

We left there at 12:30 and went for lunch. We were back at the photo studio at 1:30 p.m. to view proofs. They told us our photos would be ready at 2:00 p.m.

Stopping traffic in Misawa - you know I realized yesterday that my Identity is "mom of 9" and I'm used to the stares that go with that...both on base and off. I'm still adjusting to being a "mom of 5," which is my identity at this base (sorta, you KNOW what I mean don't go spiritual on me).

Picked up photos and headed for Tonomi Clan Memorial. I CHECKED on the website to be sure of times....but they were closed when we got there. Bummer. That's it in the background.

This photo led to us doing stair step photos, Liz.

We used to have stair steps......and we would often take photos with them lined up oldest in the back to youngest

...but we can't see the last two in this arrangement any longer. ::snort::

Our "stair steps" with oldest in front....note the skillet Bre got Stacia for Christmas. ::snort::

We decided to do a stair step photo according to height....and Arielle is welcomed in to the "taller crowd"

Only to have her position challenged by Krista

Ah, here we go. The heights look off, but Bre has more fluffed up hair. ::snort:: You can trust the arrow...which was called on several time in the arranging of this photo.

We're not sure what we'll do today. We KNOW everything will be closed on New Years Day. The girls leave early on the 2nd. We may try to find a souveneir shop that's open...but I fear that most things will be closed today.

EVERYONE IS HOME!

Stacia's smile shows she'd rather be in the front of the line. :)

HI:

P:AY! What better memories can you make with the kids all having fun together. Does a parents heart good to see kids enjoying each other and our hearts too.

Well, we might have some great-grand-kids in the future to be protected too. :):):):):) However it looks like he is pretty good at it. Those are a lot of fun.

Love the stair step foto's and the sink foto's. Too funny! Won't be long and some of your older girls (un-named) will be in the front. :):)

Hope you all have a great day today. So your 2nd is our 1st. love/prayers --- Mom T. rock on Goeckers!!!

Perhaps if Mike breaks a leg on Alex's pogo stick he won't have to deploy. That's NOT a wish, by the way, at least the broken leg part. Bre absolutely looks like you, De'Etta, just as Cy looks like Mike. After that everyone seems to have a look mixture.
Love ya and miss you here in San Angelo.

Yes, Lois, I thought of this too. I'm wondering if there are any extreme winter sports Mike would like to try in the next few months. ::snort::
