Photobucket Beep, Beep.....Running all Day

We saw this little guy (a roadrunner) as we left home this a.m. Unfortunately, he was faster than the camera...but Arielle got a quick shot of him.

Hint that it's time to call the optometrist? Your dd begins to wear Dad's glasses so she can see far off.

We headed downtown today to buy a few farewell gifts.

We stopped by the library - forgot what was across the street.

I had Arielle, Nolan and Stacia with me. I kept thinking I'd left Zander somewhere. ::snort:: We zipped to drama class only to find out that class must have been cancelled. I am always out of the loop. I'll have to call the teacher and find out what is up. I knew Deja and kids were out of town - but I didn't know we were cancelling the whole class. ::snort::

We headed to HEB for a few more Passover items....and for goodies to make our military/spouse survival kits.

Arielle and I got things ready for Passover. I had several books to instruct me in this adventure, but it was P is For Passover, Darshia, that helped me set up our seder plate. I'm visual. LOL Zander said, "Where's the communion book?" when we were preparing. ::snort:: We made charoset, roasted some lamb for the bone (and ate it), got Hawaiin chicken in the crockpot, got rice in the steamer and a salad made.

Nolan and I went over the 4 questions. The youngest child is to recite them but I never quite got Zander to learn them all. Stacia said, "Whys this night different" and Zander asked the question as Scripted...then Nolan read the 4 questions.......

I'll write a seperate Passover post with photos tomorrow. We're watching Herbie goes to Monte Carlo now.....

I'm hoping it all went well!

DeEtta, if you ever get the time, can you possibly post about the military/spouse survival kits?

Sounds (and looks) like you had a fun celebration.

Wow about all those news trucks!

Dorothy - will do.

Look at all the media trucks! Gosh, what a zoo. How can justice be served in such a chaotic environment.

Debbie - it was something else. A few Mothers walked out for lunch break, one was crying, men literally grabbed their cameras from stands and sprinted to them.....like 6....it was stampede.

Sis:

Certainly a lot for us to pray about. What a bunch of feelings, needs, and prayer is going to really be the only answer for all those kids and their Moms.

Praying for the judge and lawyers too.
