Photobucket We're "Done"!

We did it. The youngers and I wrapped up Tapestry of Grace (linked in sidebar) by the end of June! We left the hands on for the past 10 weeks to do over the summer. We didn't read all the great lit books on Greece and Rome that we'd planned....but those books will be the basis of our summer reading program.

I need to wrap up Jamin's portfolio in the next week or two.

Good for you! That's a great accomplishment. I love it when we complete something on goal. :)

One question...How did you do it? I'm just starting TOG this year with 7 children. I'm trying to figure out a schedule but can't seem to make it all fit...How did you?

One more thing. Where do yo learn how to set up a blog. I'd love to do this for our family.

Blessings,
Renee

PS: You have a beautiful family!

Renee - how old are your oldest? I aim for the oldest to be very independent by jr/high school. This is huge. We have used TOG enough now that they can take the book book and make their daily lesson plans from there. I check in daily to see how things are going and answer any questions.

I combine grades as much as possible.

Pick and CHOOSE! Do not feel that you have to do every assignment that you see in the big notebooks....pick the ones that work best for you. Skip whole subjects if you cover them another way or think that they aren't very important in this season.

If you have specific questions, feel free to ask.
