Geo-caching.....

After the Stock Show, we went Geo-caching.....
Let's see....we seem to have trespassed on PRIVATE PROPERTY...though there were NO signs....the lady stayed on her driveway, rather agitated, until we drove off. We didn't laugh until we got away from her driveway.

I retrieved the cache!! This photo can serve as a current photo of me, that's the new style....flipped up on the bottom but really all I note is that with all the layers it has more volume and doesn't hang in my face as much! LOL

We eventually did find 3 caches. We're pretty sure another one has been stolen as we've searched for it twice and it simply isn't there. It's supposed to be in this park, so we stopped and played. Wouldn't it be nice to have BIG brothers to watch out for you?

Most parks don't have teeter-totters anymore - at least the ones we find. The littles had a great time on these...and then the older ones joined in and showed them all sorts of new fun things to do on the teeter totters. A personal highlight of the day for me happened on the teeter totter. The children wanted to balance....Josiah was on one side and no one could balance with him. OK - to realize why this is HAPPY and not depressing you need to remember that always in the past I am able to sink to the bottom and keep Cy in the air. Today, I had Stacia with me and when I scooted back we almost balanced. He is now 23 lbs heavier than I. Of course he's a foot taller...but still I didn't sink....::snort::

Not only do you sometimes see irate neighbors, intersing wildlife and the like...but look what else we discovered on our hunt....

Wow! I was confused because I thought that was a picture of your daughter! I was wondering why you had a picture of her caching with you! It wasn't till I kept reading that I realized it was you! You look great!

I hope it warms up and dries up enough for caching here soon. We want to hide a new cache for our 4-H project.

I agree, I thought it was one of your girls, De'Etta. You look great! I can see the effects of all your hard work (exercising and eating well).

What a privilege for those older boys to have a little sister to care for and a blessing for her to have big brothers. God is good!

What a fun day. We haven't been caching in ages, even though most of our local caches are snow friendly, I can't imagine wading through through a few feet of it to find them.

You look great. Keep up the good work.

Sis: LOOKING VERY FINE! Bet you are happy and proud of the weight you have lost. We are in the process of getting Dad on a diet to keep us from having to visit ER's and to help him lose all he has gained from being idle and eating. :): :(:( sending an email to you about yesterday!

Kid sure look like they are having a lot of fun. PTL, for the family times one can have and all the fun brothers/sisters can have.

I too thought you were one of your dd's!

Looks like a wonderful day. ooks like someone got very mad at their appliances though! Or were those appliances on revolt and they have run away from home and broken themselves?

Do you even realize how much your son looks like Mike? It is really amazing. And you look fantastic. I am going to curves this week also. I could go for free to the Martial Arts studio where the boys go, but I hate having to work out with men...

LOL - thanks for the kind words. Frankly, the last 6 weeks have been all about health...awakening my metabolism and making heart healthy choices.... no one local had mentioned the weight so I assumed it wasn't showing. I still see myself at about 190 or maybe 170, I guess.....

When I saw the photo I thought "Well that turned out well - must have been a good angle or something". :;snort::

I think all the working out is paying off too....I'm starting to enjoy MOVING. LOL

Debbie,

I checked some AK caches just to have fun and was surprised that folks go out in the SNOW...not me. ::snort::

Hsartgirl...you've stumped me...I keep trying to remember the name that goes with the login name.....

But YES they look a LOT alike. If Josiah ever gets a military cut like Mike's it will be totally uncanny.
