Photobucket Family Friday

2:42 a.m. and I'm UP - blogging - I'm seriously deranged? No, I'm not feeling well, fell asleep early, and was later awaken. ::snort::

Early Friday a.m. Mike and Dad drove my Mom to Midland to catch a flight out to surprise her 83 yo brother in LA. I WISH I could be there to see their reunion. I love my Uncle Jim and Aunt Clara. One of my favorite family memories is exploring New Orleans with them. They lost their home in Katrina. Aunta Clara is now battling Altzheimers.... Their family celebrates Christmas on the 29th and Mom will be there to surprise Uncle Jim and Aunt Clara.

Other events of day? Produce co-op, MORE grocery shopping, more laundry, more games, more fun....we capped the evening off by watching Victor Borge from Netlfix.

Jamin was awarded a .75 cent raise! Yippee!

I'm glad you Mom is getting to see her brother but, I'm sad she had to leave already.
Ok, you asked about my house. I live about 2 blocks or so down from Margie and Luis, toward the park. I also have a snowman family, white tree and candy canes in the yard. I saw the manger thing once many years ago and always wanted to do it. My Daddy made me the manger last year. I want to shed more light on it next year and put it farther out in the yard. It is kind of hidden up next to the house. But, we ran into electrical cord issues. Hopefully the oak near the curb will get the pleasure of holding the star next year. Anyway, we can compare house addresses next week at Rehab. We are going to try and go on the 31st.
Keep having fun making family memories. Thanks for sharing them with us. Even at 2:30 in the morning! Hope you feel better soon.
xoxo Amy

Amy,

Mom will be flying back into Midland tomorrow.....then we have her for nearly another week. Yes.

Debbie - sleep IS for wimps, you know?

LOL, well, put me in the wimp category then. I am a night-owl, but I also do not like getting up too early. I like my 6-7 hours of sleep, thank you very much! :-) I don't know how you all do it on so little sleep.
