Busy Day

APPLIANCES!!!!
We FINALLY got the repairman here today to fix our washer. When HE was here it worked perfectly. I told him we've been hauling water because it won't fill. He showed me it is working - but ordered a new something or other anyway - just to pacify ME - the dizzy woman who wanted to be in bed but was up dealing with him and threatning to go to Lowes and BUY A GE! ::snort:: I was polite - honest.

ID'S
Mike has Arielle, Jamin, Jared and Krista at the base getting new ID cards. They needed to be updated since his promotion - and Arielle gets her first one today. Josiah and I will have to do our lates - he's working - I'm still not public ready. ::snort::

DIZZY BROAD?
Some are wondering why I'm still so dizzy etc. I need to build up red blood cells or some such thing....so I need to EAT according to Mike. At the hospital my blood pressure was low and my oxygen level off - I feel much better today - I'm sitting and typing...though I plan to go take a nice nap and spend the rest of the day "lounging".

SNAPSHOTS
My family is amazing - they've been carrying on my obsession and taking photos of everything - so I'm going to try to upload some photos - or maybe have someone else do it of the last few days.

I really do have lots to share, have been thinking lots...but this is enough "up" time for now.

Appliances have a way of doing that, don't they... sigh...

De'Etta,

I think this tastes terrible, but others love it.. it's called Floradix. It raises iron levels *fast* and doesn't have the not-so-nice side effects of iron pills. You do need to eat with it. The first time I took it I didn't eat. About an hour later I started feeling bad.. then I felt truly bad.. then I puked. The 'funny' part is everything was pink/red and I started wondering if it was something really bad. I called my midwife to ask if she thought it was blood, which she thought was kinda funny. Turns out that Floradix turns a funky red/pink color in your stomach if you don't eat with it. After that I became very very good at eating whenever I took a dose. It's kinda pricey, but did raise my iron in under a week.

Still thinking of you often and praying..

Very sorry to reads about your loss but very glad to hear how strongly you were filled with the Holy Spirit during the trial.

I was always told to eat lots of hardboiled eggs and gelatine when you have blood loss issues. Tuna & salmon fillets are great too. HTH

Glad you got your washer fixed. I've done that pour in the water manually thing. It surely does make you appreciate how much work those machines actually do! Washers aren't as good in recent years as they used to be methinks. Mine broke too!
