Locks of Love

Two years ago, BreAnne began growing her hair for Locks of Love. On Wednesday, 20 May, we had a girls day at Trendsetters. Bre's rather petite. Her only request was that Heather make sure she "look 24 and not 10" once her hair was cut short. Heather cut off 11 - 12 inches.

I think it turned out darling and was thrilled that Arielle, Stacia, Heather and I got to be a part of the culmination of the project.

Nice haircut and it's great that she had such purpose it letting it grow long.

Love the new haircut on Bre.

I'm not sure how you're trying to get wifi, but if you haven't already tried, you might call your library or any local coffee shops. McDonalds also will sometimes have wifi, along with community centers. Even in our little town of 4,000, two DAIRY QUEENS and a tofu-type deli (lol) have wifi, and you can get at least most of them (including the library) even out in the parking lot after hours.

Certainly a grown-up hairstyle.

Congratulations, Bre, on the new look and 2 years of perseverance!

It's amazing how much lighter one's head feels after all that hair is chopped, isn't it, Bre? [I've also donated my hair to Locks of Love.] You were wise to grow your hair extra-long, so that it wasn't TOO short afterward:)

Great style.
I was thinking the same thing about wi-fi. Our local library offers it to those with a valid library card and recently one of the city parks has it as well

Fun to see all the pictures of the last few busy days, I was going to say "at your house" but will revise it to last few busy days for your family as house doesn't really fit any more!

The hair looks great Bre. And thank you for donating to Locks of Love. James' has a little girl friend he adores. SHe has that disease I can never pronounce right where her body doesn't grow hair. She wears wigs. In the Fall her parents were encouraged to fill out the paperwork to receive a Locks wig. She got one in like February or maybe March. It is wonderful and her Parents are so thrilled with the real hair over the other wigs. So on behalf of Ciara and all who suffer with hair loss for whatever reason THANK YOU!

wi fi - YES there are lots of spots in town with free wifi - the problem is that I'm very busy and can only try to catch wifi where I AM...in other words we don't have time for me to go to the library etc.....it's been unbelievably busy with really long days. I'm trying to catch wifi early in the a.m. at the camper or in spurts as we work on the house. LOL
